Metropolia's Tech Hub — Myllypuro Campus

Where ideas become real digital products

A place where students and teachers build apps, VR experiences, games, and AI tools. No experience needed. Just walk in with an idea.

Scroll

We're a tech hub, dedicated to accessibility and hands-on prototyping.

We're located in the hallway of the Myllypuro campus — right where students pass by every day on their way to classes, coffee, or conversations.

But we're more than a space. We make building things accessible to everyone — not just engineers or computer science students.

Whether you're studying healthcare, business, construction, or social services — if you have an idea, you should be able to bring it to life.

For students

Build real projects, learn digital skills, create work for your portfolio.

For teachers

Create new teaching tools, test ideas for research, collaborate on projects.

For teams

Work together across disciplines, turn ideas into prototypes fast.

2023

TITAN project starts with student-company-research collaboration.

2025

TITAN concludes with validated hands-on innovation outcomes.

Now

AivoLink expands the model beyond one field — same philosophy, wider access.

Roots in the TITAN project

AivoLink was born from a simple observation: when students get access to tools, space, and support, they drive innovation forward — finding real hands-on applications for emerging technologies.

This became clear during the Future Construction Hub (TITAN) — a two-year innovation project at Metropolia (2023–2025) that brought together students, companies, and researchers to explore new technologies in the built environment.

Why should this energy be limited to one field? When TITAN ended, we developed it further — beyond just a showroom.

We help you build digital products.

Apps and web tools, virtual and augmented reality, interactive experiences, and AI solutions.

Students work alongside our team to learn digital skills, prototype ideas, and create portfolio-ready work.

We also design gamified learning experiences because challenge, progression, and feedback make learning more engaging and memorable.

Digital skills are essential

Yet many students graduate without hands-on practice in their own field.

Ideas stay on paper

We bridge the gap between planning and building.

Try, fail, learn

A place for safe experimentation and rapid iteration.

The world is changing fast.

Digital skills aren't optional anymore. They're essential in almost every profession.

Metropolia helps students write business plans. But actually building the thing — that's hard to do alone. We fill that gap.

We give students a place to experiment, fail quick, learn, and try again. You don't need prior coding experience or advanced technical knowledge. You just need curiosity.

No application process.

Just walk in with an idea. We'll help you figure out the rest.

No paperwork. No formal enrollment. The only requirement is that you're willing to try.

Not just learning.
Real impact.

Success means innovation doesn't stay in one lane. It means ideas become real prototypes that people can use, test, and build upon.
